ADP movie examples

GOALS:
  • Look and learn about two artists, and share what you know with your classmates via an imovie presentation.
  • Determine a Concentration of work that has you pursuing subject matter or technique or a medium of interest (and which will appropriately challenge you)

Due Friday, 6/1: completed work and imovies!!!! Ready to watch.

Due Friday, 5/25: EVIDENCE THAT YOU ARE WORKING ON THIS; PLEASE BE READY TO SHOW ME YOUR PROGRESS. WHILE I KNOW YOU ARE CAPABLE OF BUDGETING YOUR TIME, I DON'T ALWAYS SEE THAT YOU HAVE DONE THIS SUCCESSFULLY. THE MOVIE IS DUE, POLISHED AND GORGEOUS, NEXT FRIDAY. BY GIVING YOU THE DEADLINES I DID I WAS HOPING TO HELP YOU SUCCEED IN MEETING THE DUE DATE.
  • Play with imovie and start to set up your presentation
  • Find Music to accompany your presentation: Music (from the time period of your artists) should accompany your presentation; it should add to the presentation, not detract from it.
  • Include a title, your name, and Advanced Drawing & Painting Spring 2012
    Include an introduction describing the project, your goals for your concentration and time period (in the first person).
  • Work through the "story" of the older painter, using your words and images to give a full picture of who this artist was
  • Work through the "story" of the contemporary painter, using your words and images to give a full picture of who this artist is
  • Come up with a way to creatively connect your two artists with each other and also to your work
  • Come up with at least six images to use from your main artist, three from your contemporary artist, and of course, your final works or all your exercises. Use enough images to help communicate the message;
  • Images chosen should be powerful works that clearly relate to what is being discussed.
  • Include a conclusion that describes what you learned as a result of completing this project (which would include both the research and your Concentration experience). Please identify three things and explain their importance. It might be appropriate to read this while looking at your art work.
